3.1 Order Placement

• Inability to deliver to the specified address

3.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time of order confirmation.

3.3 Payment

Payment must be made at the time of ordering. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and contactless payments. For large custom orders, a deposit may be required.

3.4 Cancellation

Orders for standard products can be cancelled up to 2 hours before the scheduled collection/delivery time. Custom orders (wedding trays, large events) require 48 hours notice for cancellation. Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable within 48 hours of the event date.

4. Delivery and Collection

4.1 Delivery Areas

We offer local delivery within Liverpool (L1-L20 postcodes). Delivery boundaries are subject to change. Please contact us to confirm service to your address. Minimum order value of £15 applies for delivery.

4.2 Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only. While we strive to meet these estimates, actual delivery times may vary due to traffic, weather, or high demand. We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.

4.3 Collection

Collection orders will be ready at the estimated time provided. Please bring your order confirmation and a valid ID. Orders not collected within 2 hours of the estimated time may need to be remade at additional cost.

5. Food Safety and Allergens

5.1 Allergen Information

We take food allergies seriously. Our products may contain or come into contact with allergens including:

• Nuts (pistachios, walnuts, pine nuts, almonds)
• Gluten (wheat, semolina)
• Milk and dairy products
• Eggs
• Sesame seeds

Please inform us of any allergies when ordering. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur as all products are prepared in the same kitchen.

5.2 Food Quality

We are committed to providing high-quality, fresh sweets. Our baklava and kunafa are best consumed within 3-5 days of purchase when stored at room temperature. If you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 24 hours with details. Refunds or replacements will be provided at our discretion.

6. Shelf Life and Storage

Our products have the following recommended shelf life when stored properly:

• Baklava: 5-7 days at room temperature, 2 weeks refrigerated
• Kunafa: Best consumed within 24 hours; 2 days refrigerated
• Basbousa: 3-4 days at room temperature
• Maamoul: 7-10 days at room temperature

We are not responsible for product quality if storage instructions are not followed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and recipes, is the property of Sham Eastern Sweets Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sham Eastern Sweets Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or data
• Service interruptions or website unavailability
• Foodborne illness (except where caused by our negligence)
• Delivery delays beyond our control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
